Imagine standing at the water’s edge—the light shifting, the air still before a storm. In that moment, everything feels suspended: color, movement, emotion. Each piece begins in such moments—when seeing becomes feeling, and color becomes the language of expression. Across eight collections, from luminous reflections on water to abstract envisioned landscapes and expressive portraits of drag queens and transgender individuals, the work traces a single thread: light, emotion, and connection.

That fascination began early—sketching beside my father in Savannah, where light shimmered across the marshes and everything seemed alive with possibility. What started as curiosity became a lifelong exploration of how light and color transform everything they touch.
